Soy-Based Inks
We proudly use Soy-based inks rather than traditional petroleum-based ink. Soy-based ink is more environmentally friendly, is available in brighter colors, and makes it easier to recycle paper. Click here to see an independent look at Soy-Based Inks.
Water-Based Aqueous Coating
We coat most of our prints with non-toxic water-based aqueous coating to improve bio-degradability of our products and improve print drying times. This clear coating provides a high gloss surface which protects the surface from dirt, smudges, fingerprints and scratch. Aqueous coating improves postcards durability as they go through mail or inserted in pockets. It is also applied on brochures, business cards, flyers and other print products.
Forest Stewardship Council
In an effort to define sustain able forestry, a group of loggers, foresters, environmentalists and sociologists joined together in 1993, and became the first General Assembly to form the FSC. Since that time, their principles, criteria and standards for forest management have been applied in over 57 countries.
